Serena Brooks: textile art

 

I love attempting to create order out of chaos. Purposefully, the hard edge where squares or rectangles meet, contrasts with the “softer” or “fuzzier” element within the fabric. Inspiration in this series is about seeing what happens when two elements collide or intersect.
